About this role

Rhymetec is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to work alongside Security Program Managers in designing, implementing, and managing compliance programs for clients across multiple frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA. You'd configure compliance platforms, conduct training sessions and tabletop exercises on incident response and business continuity, serve as a liaison between clients and auditors, and help build risk management programs. This role requires strong customer-facing skills and the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable security programs.

The position calls for at least four years of experience in technology, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance, plus either a relevant bachelor's degree or five additional years of direct experience in these areas. Cloud security expertise is valued—particularly with AWS, GCP, or Azure—along with familiarity implementing security controls through DevOps and IaaS approaches. Certifications like Cloud+, CySA+, CISSP, or CISM are preferred but not required.

Rhymetec offers comprehensive benefits including fully covered medical premiums, dental and vision coverage, generous PTO with 11 paid holidays, a 401K option, company-paid life insurance, and an annual TalkSpace subscription for mental health support. Note that while the job description mentions remote work with New York preferred, the listing indicates in-office work in New York—clarify the actual arrangement before applying.
