About this role

Panthalassa, a renewable energy and ocean technology company, is looking for a procurement specialist to manage sourcing, supplier relationships, and purchase order execution for a fast-moving supply chain. You'd be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring materials and services arrive on schedule to support the company's program milestones. The role requires close collaboration with engineering teams to understand technical specifications, performing cost analysis to secure competitive pricing, and resolving supply chain issues as they arise.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of procurement experience in complex manufacturing environments, a solid grasp of supply chain processes, and hands-on experience with ERP systems. A bachelor's degree in supply chain management or equivalent professional background is expected. Experience managing engineering change orders, familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies, and a track record of working cross-functionally with engineering teams would strengthen your candidacy, though these aren't dealbreakers if your core procurement experience is strong.

The position offers a salary range of $80,000 to $110,000, company equity, and comprehensive benefits including fully covered health, dental, and vision insurance. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Portland, Oregon, with relocation assistance available if needed.
