About this role

Multiquip is hiring a full-time Welder in Boise to fabricate and assemble structural components for equipment that serves industrial customers. You'll work Monday through Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional Friday overtime, performing a range of welding tasks across flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions. The role involves interpreting drawings and work orders, setting up equipment, positioning and fitting components, executing welds to specification, inspecting quality, and using auxiliary tools like plasma cutters, grinders, and forklifts to complete assemblies and repairs.

The position requires solid welding experience across multiple positions and familiarity with fabrication equipment. You'll need to pass Multiquip's welder certification within three months of hire—a milestone that comes with a $2.00 hourly raise. The work is physically demanding: you'll stand for extended periods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, regularly lift up to 50 pounds, and work around weld gases, cleaners, and noise requiring hearing protection.

Multiquip offers $21.00 per hour to start, nine paid holidays, four weeks of PTO annually, and a comprehensive benefits package that kicks in after 30 days. Additional perks include paid parental leave, tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 yearly, a 401(k) with company match, and an employee assistance program. This role suits experienced welders ready to commit to a structured schedule and safety-focused manufacturing environment.
