Description
Seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive cloud migrations and modernization for federal applications. This role leads architecture and agile delivery across AWS and Azure, enabling scalable, secure solutions using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in CI/CD automation, containerized architectures, and observability tools, with a proven record guiding large IT programs through transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and migrate enterprise applications to AWS and Azure
- Lead agile teams in CI/CD, DevSecOps, and cloud best practices
- Implement container/microservices solutions and automated pipelines
- Drive monitoring and performance engineering using tools like New Relic, Splunk
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable systems
Required Skills:
- 6+ years cloud migration experience (AWS, Azure; IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).
- 8+ years software engineering (C#, Java, .NET, Angular).
- Strong CI/CD and config management (Jenkins, Git, Chef).
- Expertise in monitoring tools and relational databases
- Agile leadership and federal program experience
- Ability to be onsite three days/week in Springfield/Arlington area
Preferred Skills:
- Experience modernizing public websites, mobile apps, and internal systems, within federal portfolios
- Background in building custom monitoring apps (e.g., Node.js for payments tracking, message broker gap fixes) and integrating alerts in observability platforms
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and static/dynamic analysis tools (Fortify, Sonar, Sonatype)
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
