About this role

Langan is hiring a Civil CAD Designer to support land development and infrastructure projects across its Cleveland office (with potential work in Milwaukee and Pittsburgh). You'll work alongside civil engineers to transform site data—soil reports, aerial photography, topographical surveys—into planning and design documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. The role involves preparing feasibility studies and technical reports, conducting zoning assessments, performing field inspections as needed, and coordinating with clients and subcontractors under engineering supervision.

The position suits someone with an associate degree in engineering sciences, active enrollment in a civil engineering bachelor's program, or equivalent AutoCAD/Civil 3D training. At least one year of hands-on experience in site design, grading, stormwater management, or drainage is preferred.
