Compensation: $60,000–$76,000 per year (based on education and experience)

As a Certified Head Teacher, you’ll lead an engaging, child-centered classroom where curiosity is encouraged, families feel supported, and your professional voice matters.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead your classroom with creativity, warmth, and purpose.

  • Design and implement inquiry-based curriculum that inspires discovery and meets developmental milestones.

  • Foster children’s social, emotional, and academic growth through play, conversation, and connection.

  • Communicate proactively with families about progress and milestones.

  • Ensure a safe, nurturing, and well-organized learning environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience as a lead or head teacher.

  • New York State Initial or Permanent Early Childhood Certification (N-6 or B-2).

  • Passion for working with young children and seeing every child as capable and curious.

  • Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.

  • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified).

  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
