About this role

Triumvirate Environmental is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to drive new business development for their Somerville office. You'll own the prospecting process from start to finish—building targeted prospect lists, making cold calls, running email campaigns, and qualifying leads before handing them off to the Business Development team. The role demands strong communication skills, comfort with independent work, and the ability to learn Triumvirate's environmental services offerings quickly enough to have informed conversations with prospects about their pain points and needs.

The first 90 days are fully onsite, after which you can work hybrid with approval. You'll need at least two years of sales or business development experience and a bachelor's degree, ideally in business, sales, or a related field. Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and consultative selling approaches is essential. Familiarity with environmental regulations like RCRA, DOT, and OSHA is a bonus but not required.

Triumvirate emphasizes training and career development—they invest in mentorship and professional growth rather than treating this as a transactional role. Beyond base salary of $70,000–$90,000, benefits include health and dental coverage, 401k contributions, tuition reimbursement, and various perks like insurance discounts and safety training opportunities.
