About this role

Remodel Health's Benefits Advisor role for PeopleKeep puts you at the center of helping individuals navigate health insurance decisions. You'll guide both new and existing members through enrollment, explain how major medical and ancillary coverage options work for their specific situations, and serve as their primary expert on benefits. The work spans sales, enrollment, customer education, and advocacy—requiring you to understand client needs deeply and customize solutions accordingly.

The position demands strong communication skills, comfort across multiple software platforms, and the ability to manage competing priorities, especially during Q4 when hours extend beyond the standard week. You'll need to maintain meticulous records, stay compliant with HIPAA and insurance regulations, and develop genuine expertise in health benefits. A health insurance license is required or must be obtained. Prior health insurance experience is strongly preferred, and a bachelor's degree is preferred.

You'd work in-office four days weekly in downtown Indianapolis with Fridays remote. The company offers comprehensive health benefits, generous PTO, 401(k) matching, and sabbatical time after five years. This role suits someone who is organized, collaborative, and genuinely interested in becoming a benefits expert while helping employees and employers find better health coverage solutions.
