About this role
DoiT's legal team is looking for a Senior Commercial Counsel to lead commercial negotiations and provide strategic legal guidance as the company scales its cloud technology business across North America. Reporting to the General Counsel, you'll draft and negotiate a range of agreements—from partner and SaaS contracts to vendor agreements and data processing terms—while supporting the channel partner program (MSPs, VARs, distributors, and system integrators). Beyond contract work, you'll handle product launch support, collections matters, HR-related legal issues, and ad hoc compliance and risk assessments across multiple time zones.
This role demands someone with at least eight years of corporate legal experience in an international setting, with proven expertise supporting sales teams in technology and SaaS environments. You'll need a commercial mindset that balances legal risk management with business pragmatism, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Channel partner program experience and product launch support are essential; experience with other languages is a bonus.
The position is fully remote within EST or CST time zones, offering unlimited PTO, flexible working arrangements, professional development support, and an employee stock option plan alongside standard health and parental leave benefits.
