About this role
Diana Health is restructuring women's healthcare in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and this PRN position offers the chance to practice full-scope midwifery within a collaborative team model that genuinely prioritizes provider well-being alongside clinical excellence. You'd work independently in the outpatient clinic managing obstetric and gynecological care, while also providing in-house Labor & Delivery coverage and first assist support in surgery. The role sits within a larger practice of OB/GYNs and CNMs, meaning you'd be triaging emergent patients, leading quality improvement work, and participating in skills drills—all supported by nurses, lactation counselors, health coaches, and other specialists designed to distribute the load.
The ideal candidate brings at least two years of hospital-based intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage experience, along with current Texas APRN and RN licenses, NRP and BLS certifications, and active AMCB certification. Additional credentials in obstetric ultrasound, advanced fetal monitoring, or lactation are valued but not required. Beyond credentials, Diana Health is looking for someone who thrives in shared decision-making, communicates clearly, and genuinely believes in patient choice and holistic care—not just someone checking boxes.
The compensation is competitive, and the company explicitly invests in leadership development if advancement interests you. This is a PRN arrangement in an office-based setting, which suits someone seeking flexibility or a transition into a practice that's intentionally built to prevent burnout rather than perpetuate it.
