About this role

Misfits Market, a mission-driven grocery delivery startup, is hiring a CDL A Truck Driver to operate tractor-trailers delivering organic produce, meats, seafood, and other groceries across 48 states. You'll be the face of the company on the road, responsible for safe, professional operation of company vehicles while maintaining strict DOT compliance and managing all associated paperwork and documentation. The role requires constant communication with dispatch and warehouse teams to keep deliveries on schedule, plus operation of freight monitoring systems to track shipments.

The position demands at least two years of tractor-trailer experience or completion of a state-certified truck driving school, a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record, and a current DOT medical card. You'll need to be comfortable driving in all weather conditions and willing to work overtime or weekends as business needs dictate. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with varying start times, though the role notes availability for around-the-clock shifts to accommodate freight movements.

Misfits Market offers $30 per hour, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k), $1,200 annual grocery credit, life insurance, paid time off, and commuter benefits. The company values problem-solving and mission-driven work—you'd be part of a team that diverts hundreds of thousands of pounds of food from waste weekly while building one of the most carbon-efficient grocery delivery networks available.
