About this role
Momentic Studios is hiring a Sales Associate for STRONG, their Pilates and cardio-focused fitness studio in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood. This full-time, in-office role centers on converting prospective members into paying clients and keeping existing members engaged. You'll conduct studio tours, explain membership options, enroll new members, and follow up on leads using company software—all while building genuine relationships with people interested in fitness. The position also involves day-to-day member service: friendly check-ins, answering questions, addressing concerns, and maintaining a welcoming studio environment.
Success in this role requires genuine enthusiasm for health and wellness, strong listening skills, and the ability to sell memberships and retail products through authentic connection rather than pressure. You'll need at least a year of sales or customer service experience, current CPR/AED/First Aid certification, and comfort with physical activity—the job involves frequent standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The base pay is $16.50 per hour with commission eligibility, and you'll receive free drop-in classes, a flexible schedule, and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) as a full-time employee.
This role suits someone who genuinely enjoys talking with people about their fitness goals, thrives on hitting enrollment targets, and wants to be part of a supportive team in a growing fitness brand.
