About this role

Method Co. is opening a barista position at Le Suprême, an upscale French brasserie in Detroit's historic Book Tower. You'd be preparing espresso drinks, specialty coffees, and teas in Bar Rotunda—an all-day café and wine bar set beneath the building's stunning marble atrium and century-old skylight. The role centers on precision beverage preparation, warm guest engagement, and maintaining a polished station in a design-forward environment inspired by early twentieth-century Parisian cafés.

The position suits someone with at least a year of barista experience, though it's not required. You'll need solid coffee knowledge, comfort with espresso equipment and POS systems, and the ability to stay composed during rushes while multitasking between drink orders, light food prep, and general café upkeep. The work is physically demanding—expect to stand for full shifts, move quickly between areas, and handle loads up to 50 pounds.

Method Co. offers competitive hourly pay, health and dental benefits, sick time and vacation, and employee dining perks across their hospitality portfolio. The company emphasizes a collaborative, design-driven workplace and growth opportunities within a boutique hospitality group.
