About this role

Micas Networks is building next-generation AI networking infrastructure, and this VP of Marketing role sits at the center of establishing the company's market presence in a competitive, fast-moving space. You'd own the full marketing function—from brand strategy and positioning through lead generation, content, events, and PR—with a direct mandate to drive revenue growth alongside the sales team. The scope is broad: you'll shape how Micas is perceived in the data center and hyperscaler markets, manage partnerships with players like Broadcom, and ensure the sales organization has the messaging and collateral they need to win deals.

This role demands someone with deep domain expertise in data center infrastructure and networking hardware, ideally with exposure to AI accelerators and open networking ecosystems. You'll need 10+ years of relevant experience and the ability to operate as both strategist and executor—setting long-term direction while also rolling up your sleeves on campaign execution, content creation, and event logistics. The company values data-driven decision-making, scrappiness, and relentless focus on ROI, so comfort with ambiguity and the ability to create clarity from competing priorities is essential.

The position is based in San Jose and requires on-site presence at least four days a week. This is a hands-on role in a high-energy environment, best suited for someone who thrives in early-stage growth phases and wants to build a marketing function from the ground up.
