About this role

Holder Construction's Project Controls team in Richmond is seeking someone to manage the financial and scheduling complexities of an active construction project. You'll own change order tracking from initial request through subcontractor invoicing, lead weekly change management meetings, and maintain cost projections and cash flow forecasts that inform leadership decisions. The role demands close coordination across design, subcontractors, and site teams—attending alignment meetings, reviewing cost allocations, and ensuring all financial data flows accurately through systems like Procore, HELIX, and D365.

This position suits someone with five to ten years of construction cost control experience who thrives managing multiple moving pieces simultaneously. You'll need strong communication and organizational skills to shepherd change orders through their lifecycle, verify subcontractor charges, and present financial status to leadership. Comfort with construction software platforms and cost coding is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively under the structure of a large, nationally ranked firm. The role is full-time and in-person in Richmond, with relocation required.
