About this role

Holder Construction, a nationally recognized top-tier contractor, is seeking an experienced scheduler to support construction projects in Columbus. This full-time, in-office role centers on developing and maintaining complex project schedules using Primavera P6, with particular focus on large-scale commercial work involving 2,500+ activities. You'll own baseline schedule creation using CPM best practices, conduct weekly schedule updates through job walks and superintendent coordination, and generate critical path analyses and variance reports. The position also requires direct client communication to address scheduling concerns and deliver monthly reporting packages including look-ahead schedules and impact analyses.

The ideal candidate brings at least five years of commercial construction management or scheduling experience, with strong proficiency in P6 and Excel for data analysis. You should be comfortable working independently while collaborating across project teams, and able to identify construction process issues and propose mitigation strategies. Mentoring junior schedulers is part of the role, making prior experience in that area valuable.

Holder offers a competitive package including annual bonuses, comprehensive health and retirement benefits, paid time off, and shift differentials where applicable. The company emphasizes merit-based advancement through a structured career development program. This role requires passing substance abuse testing and background screening as conditions of employment.
