About this role

Urban Golf Performance operates five premium facilities across California and Texas, blending golf coaching, fitness training, recovery services, and club fitting into an integrated performance model. This Certified Athletic Trainer role positions you as a Recovery Specialist within that ecosystem—working one-on-one with golfers in a fully cash-based environment where clinical decisions aren't constrained by insurance requirements or volume quotas.

Your day involves golf-specific orthopedic assessments, designing individualized longevity plans, and delivering hands-on recovery work including manual therapy and mobility sessions. You'll collaborate closely with golf coaches and fitness trainers to build comprehensive development plans for clients ranging from recreational to competitive golfers. The role demands both clinical expertise and a hospitality mindset; you're the primary health contact for clients, responsible for educating them on movement efficiency and injury prevention while maintaining UGP's five-star service standard.

This suits someone with an ATC credential (or DPT/DC) who has advanced soft tissue and mobilization skills and is drawn to performance-focused work rather than high-volume clinical settings. TPI certification and strength-and-conditioning credentials are valued. The position offers consistent Monday–Friday scheduling at one of five locations, comprehensive benefits including 401(k) matching and continuing education support, and a salary range of $65,000–$110,000 based on experience.
