About this role
HexArmor is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to build and manage a multi-state territory across the industrial PPE market in the Greater Houston area. You'll work directly with safety professionals at large manufacturing plants to diagnose workplace safety challenges, specify HexArmor solutions, and develop the business case for adoption—often collaborating with purchasing teams to demonstrate ROI through injury and cost reduction. The role bridges field-level relationships with plant safety staff and executive-level connections with divisional safety officers, while also cultivating and supporting a network of distribution partners who sell HexArmor products regionally and nationally.
Success in this position requires a consultative, problem-solving approach to sales combined with the discipline to manage a detailed territory book, forecast pipeline activity in Salesforce, and maintain profitability targets. You'll spend significant time traveling (60% or more), attending industry conferences, delivering safety presentations, and training distributor sales teams. The work demands strong organizational skills, clear communication across multiple stakeholder groups, and the ability to operate independently while staying aligned with inside sales, product development, and supply chain partners.
Candidates should bring at least two years of industrial sales experience, ideally with a track record managing multi-state territories and calling on both end users and distributors. A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with proven success in industrial accounts and familiarity with CRM systems. The position offers a base salary plus quarterly commission.
