Why Now
As our customer base and technical stack expand, we’re entering a new phase of platform development. We need a senior engineer who can both lead and build, owning architecture, solving core product challenges, and mentoring the next generation of Inorsa engineers. You'll work on the hardest growth blockers and own meaningful pieces of the product vision.
What You’ll Do
This is an 80% technical / 20% leadership role. You'll write production-grade code, guide product architecture, and elevate engineering velocity.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable systems across our full stack (Python, TypeScript, SQL)
- Lead feature and architectural planning, and write specs for major components
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and designers
- Build and maintain integrations with AI/ML models and internal data pipelines
- Improve performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability of key systems
- Review code, mentor junior developers, and guide quality standards
- Communicate progress and risks with engineering leadership
- Act as a product owner—understand user needs, propose roadmap items, and drive implementation
What You Bring
Experience
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years as a senior
- 2+ years working in startup or high-growth environments
- Deep experience with:
- Python
- TypeScript, Node.js/Nest.js (or similar frameworks)
- SQL and schema design
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent background

About this role
Inorsa is building an AI-first automation platform for mission-critical infrastructure across telecom, fiber, and data centers. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'd join at a pivotal growth moment—moving from early stage into a phase where architecture decisions and technical leadership directly shape the platform's future. This is an 80% hands-on coding role with 20% leadership responsibility, meaning you'll spend most of your time writing production code in Python, TypeScript, and SQL while also owning system design, mentoring junior engineers, and guiding quality standards.
The work spans the full stack: designing scalable systems, planning major features and architectural components, building integrations with AI/ML models and data pipelines, and improving performance and reliability across key systems. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with product and design, act as a product owner who understands user needs and shapes roadmap priorities, and communicate technical progress and risks to leadership. The role demands someone who can architect systems from scratch, think in terms of user outcomes, and genuinely invest in growing the engineers around you.
You'll need 6+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years at senior level, plus 2+ years in a startup or high-growth environment. Deep proficiency in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, SQL, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) is required. A CS degree or equivalent is expected. Beyond technical chops, Inorsa is looking for someone product-oriented, architecturally strong, and genuinely collaborative—someone with high ownership standards who thrives on hard problems and can adapt to new tools as needed. Experience with ML model deployment or infrastructure tooling is a plus. The role is in-office in Austin.
