About this role
Comprehensive Mobile Care is offering a straightforward part-time contract position for a podiatrist willing to commit one visit per week to their Los Angeles mobile care operations. You'd provide general foot care—debridement, trimming, callus and corn management, and diagnosis of common podiatric conditions—to seniors and underserved populations in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, senior centers, and veterans homes. The role emphasizes geriatric-focused, mobility-conscious care paired with patient education on preventive foot health.
The appeal here is simplicity and autonomy. CMC handles all scheduling, billing, equipment, and supplies, so you arrive, treat patients, and leave administrative work behind. At $800 per visit on a weekly schedule, this suits someone seeking stable supplemental income without the overhead of running their own practice or managing complex logistics. The work is independent contractor-based, giving you flexibility while maintaining your own practice or other commitments elsewhere.
You'll need an active California podiatric license and ideally some experience working with geriatric or facility-based populations. The organization emphasizes that strong communication and adaptability matter in a mobile environment where you're working across different facility settings. If you're a DPM looking for predictable, low-friction clinical work with immediate impact on an underserved patient population, this could be a good fit.
