About this role
Comprehensive Mobile Care is looking for a part-time optometrist to deliver eye care services to seniors and underserved populations across Oklahoma City facilities. You'd work 2–4 days per month on a flexible weekday schedule, earning $800 per day as an independent contractor. The role involves standard optometric practice—comprehensive exams, diagnosis and treatment of ocular conditions, prescribing corrective lenses, and patient education—but in a mobile, facility-based model rather than a traditional clinic setting.
This position suits an optometrist seeking supplemental income and schedule flexibility without the operational overhead of running a practice. CMC handles equipment, scheduling, billing, and administrative work, so you focus entirely on patient care. Experience with geriatric populations or mobile care is valued but not required; what matters most is strong communication skills, clinical competence, and genuine commitment to serving seniors in assisted living facilities, skilled nursing homes, and senior centers across the region.
