About this role
Comprehensive Mobile Care is filling a clinic-based wound care and dermatology role within their Detroit PACE program, serving seniors in a structured outpatient environment rather than traditional home health. You'd perform comprehensive skin and wound assessments, develop treatment plans, and carry out procedures including debridement, compression wrapping, and negative pressure therapy while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. The position emphasizes direct patient care and education for caregivers on wound prevention and management.
The schedule is straightforward—Monday through Friday daytime hours with no call—and compensation is $650 per day. You'll need an active Michigan NP license and ideally some background in wound care, geriatrics, dermatology, or senior-focused healthcare, though wound care certification is preferred but not required. Local travel between clinic sites in the Detroit area is part of the role, and you'll work with established patient flow and support staff rather than managing your own practice.
This suits an NP who values clinical autonomy and meaningful relationships with complex geriatric patients but prefers the predictability of clinic-based work and collaborative team environments over the administrative demands of private practice or the unpredictability of mobile care.
