Job Overview

As the Director of Product Management for High Performance Compute (HPC), you will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our compute product line that powers some of the most advanced AI and data workloads across the company. This is a critical leadership role that defines the direction of our infrastructure capabilities and plays a central part in enabling internal and partner teams to scale AI and ML innovation.

You will bring deep technical insight and product ownership to define how compute resources are designed, delivered, and evolved to meet growing demand. Your work will shape how next generation workloads such as model training, simulation, large-scale processing, and inference are supported across a variety of environments, ensuring our platform remains flexible, performant and future ready.

This is a highly strategic role that sits at the intersection of infrastructure, data, and AI, and requires a strong mix of technical depth, customer empathy, and executional leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the product vision and roadmap for our cloud platform, including GPU-accelerated compute, instance types, and specialized configurations for training, inference, and batch processing workloads
  • Identify and prioritize compute requirements across various customers and use cases and translate those into clear product strategy and feature requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, infrastructure, data center operations, and finance to bring new compute offerings quickly and reliably
  • Evaluate emerging GPU architectures and networking technologies and lead decisions on what hardware to support and how to expose it through productized services
  • Ensure operational excellence and service scalability, including capacity planning, utilization tracking, workload optimization, and pricing strategy
  • Partner with AI teams and customers to enable high-throughput, low-latency AI workloads through persistent compute, model-serving endpoints, and custom compute configurations
  • Drive customer engagement through roadmap reviews, design partnerships, early-access programs, and feedback loops to ensure our products are market-leading and deeply aligned with customer needs

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with 3+ years owning infrastructure or compute platform products
  • Experience leading product strategy for high-scale cloud compute services (e.g., EC2, GCE, Azure VMs) or HPC/AI infrastructure offerings
  • Deep understanding of GPU compute, container orchestration, and distributed systems
  • Track record of bringing products from 0 to 1 and scale infrastructure products to market
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and workload patterns (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, batch vs. real-time inference)
  • Knowledge of hardware trends in GPU and accelerator design
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced environments
