Opportunity Awaits!
Your Main Focus:
- Forklift Operators load, unload, move and rotate all Manhattan Beer Distributor’s products while safely operating and maintaining a powered industrial lift truck (forklift) or other material handling equipment.
- Skillfully operate forklift in warehouse environment to rotate and stack product
- Maintain all personal safety equipment
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures concerning “safety” in the work place
- Help maintain the physical condition of the warehouse with a real sense of urgency, planning and implementing; inspecting equipment to optimize safety conditions
- Maintain an open line of communication with supervisors ensuring appropriate production levels are attained according to company standards
- Proficiently review processes and propose more efficient methods for completing assigned tasks
- Comfortably utilize warehouse technology including management systems software and hardware (training provided)
Position Requirements:
- Monday-Friday, 5:00 PM Start time
- Forklift certified (on-site training available)
- Technologically Savvy
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs to shoulder height
- Capable of lifting 165 lb barrel off the floor
- Must be 21 years of age
- Minimum high school graduate or GED equivalent
Pay for this role
$16 to $18 per hour
