About this role

VitalCaring Group is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for home health services in the Gulfport area on a PRN basis. You'll conduct assessments in patients' homes, develop individualized treatment plans addressing speech and language deficits, and deliver therapy using specialized techniques. The role extends beyond direct patient care—you'll educate families and caregivers on treatment approaches, coordinate with the broader care team, and may oversee home health aides supporting your therapy plan. Documentation and case management are ongoing responsibilities, handled through the company's electronic medical record system.

This position suits an SLP with at least one year of clinical experience and a master's or doctoral degree in speech-language pathology, along with current state licensure (or equivalent if your state doesn't license SLPs). You'll need strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple patients, document thoroughly, and work collaboratively across disciplines. The role emphasizes patient-centered care aligned with VitalCaring's values of trustworthiness, compassion, and proactivity—qualities that matter in home-based settings where you're working directly with patients and families in their own environments.
