About this role

Terraphase Engineering is looking for a hands-on foreman to lead field operations on environmental remediation and construction projects across the Delaware region. You'd oversee crews of 3 to 5 people, coordinate subcontractors and equipment, interpret plans and specifications, and serve as the key link between project managers, clients, and crews in the field. The role blends day-to-day supervision with project logistics, safety oversight, and documentation—plus involvement in budget tracking and cost reporting.

This position suits someone with at least five years of supervisory experience in construction or heavy civil work who has managed projects in the $100,000+ range and can operate heavy equipment. You'll need solid familiarity with construction and grading plans, comfort with Microsoft Office, a valid driver's license, and the ability to tow equipment. Environmental remediation experience, DOT familiarity, and HAZWOPER certification are valued but not required; a CDL is a plus.

Terraphase offers medical, dental, vision, employer-paid life insurance, a strong 401(k) match, professional development reimbursement, and a flexible work schedule. The company emphasizes a supportive culture and positions this role as a path to longer-term career growth beyond typical field supervision.
