About this role

VitalCaring Group's home health branch in Orlando is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver one-on-one patient care in clients' homes. You'll work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on reducing pain, improving mobility, and restoring functional independence. Your day-to-day responsibilities include therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance work, transfers, and patient education on safety and assistive devices, along with documenting progress and communicating updates to the care team.

This role suits someone with a current PTA license, at least one year of experience (home health background preferred), and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care. You'll need reliable transportation and valid auto insurance, as the position is field-based across the Orlando service area. VitalCaring emphasizes autonomy balanced with support—you'll manage your schedule with guidance from an experienced PT team while collaborating with nurses and other healthcare professionals on coordinated care.

The company offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) match, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and mental health support. If you're motivated by direct patient impact and prefer working in home settings rather than clinical facilities, this is a practical fit with a growing national provider.
