Description

Campaign Manager - North Yorkshire

Role Overview

Reform UK is preparing for a general election by increasing its number of full-time Campaign Managers.

In applying for this role, please be aware this is not merely a job. It’s a mission.

We will expect any applicant to be someone completely committed to the Party, and able to demonstrate this in their CV and/or covering letter.

To be successful in the role, you will need to be a natural people-person who is highly motivated and organised.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the ground campaigns within a defined set of Parliamentary constituencies.

The role focuses on the organisation of core ground campaign activities: the collection of Voting Intention data, delivering literature, and running GOTV and Polling Day operations. Identifying local government candidates will be important too.

You will not have the responsibility for setting strategy, raising funds, engaging with the press or running social media. This is a role focused on ground campaigning, pure and simple.

We are seeking Campaign Managers across all parts of the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate an ambitious but deliverable canvassing schedule within each of the seats in your area, ensuring high levels of accurate data is collected.
• Organise the delivery of HQ- designed literature in your seats.
• Work with branches to deliver both of the above.
• Work with branches to engage volunteers in campaign activity.
• Monitor campaign progress to ensure you are meeting the KPIs set for you by the Head of Campaigns.
• Ensure adherence to legal and electoral requirements.

What we're looking for:

• Strong alignment to Reform UK and its values (essential)
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills (essential).
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities (essential)
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines (essential)
• Experience in political campaigning & election management (desirable)
• Knowledge of electoral law and timetables (desirable)

Applicant must hold a UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

About this role

Reform UK is building out its campaign management team ahead of a general election, and this volunteer role would have you leading ground operations across a set of North Yorkshire Parliamentary constituencies. You'd own the practical side of campaigning—organizing canvassing schedules to collect voting data, coordinating literature delivery, mobilizing volunteers through local branches, and running get-out-the-vote and polling day operations. The role is deliberately narrow in scope: you won't be setting strategy, raising funds, handling media, or managing social media. Success means staying organized under pressure, hitting the KPIs your Head of Campaigns sets, and ensuring everything runs within electoral law.

This role demands someone genuinely committed to Reform UK's mission and values, with strong organizational and communication skills. Prior experience in political campaigning or knowledge of electoral law would be valuable, though the essential requirement is the ability to coordinate multiple moving parts and work effectively with local party branches. You'll need a UK driving licence and access to a vehicle to cover your constituencies. This is a volunteer position based in-office, suited to someone who sees campaign work as a calling rather than a conventional job.
