Description

Campaign Manager - Essex

Role Overview

Reform UK is preparing for a general election by increasing its number of full-time Campaign Managers.

In applying for this role, please be aware this is not merely a job. It’s a mission.

We will expect any applicant to be someone completely committed to the Party, and able to demonstrate this in their CV and/or covering letter.

To be successful in the role, you will need to be a natural people-person who is highly motivated and organised.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the ground campaigns within a defined set of Parliamentary constituencies.

The role focuses on the organisation of core ground campaign activities: the collection of Voting Intention data, delivering literature, and running GOTV and Polling Day operations. Identifying local government candidates will be important too.

You will not have the responsibility for setting strategy, raising funds, engaging with the press or running social media. This is a role focused on ground campaigning, pure and simple.

We are seeking Campaign Managers across all parts of the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate an ambitious but deliverable canvassing schedule within each of the seats in your area, ensuring high levels of accurate data is collected.
• Organise the delivery of HQ- designed literature in your seats.
• Work with branches to deliver both of the above.
• Work with branches to engage volunteers in campaign activity.
• Monitor campaign progress to ensure you are meeting the KPIs set for you by the Head of Campaigns.
• Ensure adherence to legal and electoral requirements.

What we're looking for:

• Strong alignment to Reform UK and its values (essential)
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills (essential).
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities (essential)
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines (essential)
• Experience in political campaigning & election management (desirable)
• Knowledge of electoral law and timetables (desirable)

Applicant must hold a UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

About this role

Reform UK is building out its Campaign Manager team ahead of a general election, and this Essex-based role is a ground-level position focused entirely on the mechanics of local campaigning. You'll oversee canvassing operations, coordinate literature distribution, and manage Get Out The Vote and Polling Day activities across a set of Parliamentary constituencies, working closely with local branches and volunteers to hit specific performance targets. The work is data-driven and logistical—collecting voting intention information, ensuring legal compliance, and keeping campaign progress on track against KPIs set by the Head of Campaigns.

This is a volunteer position that demands genuine commitment to Reform UK's mission and values. You'll need strong organisational skills, the ability to communicate clearly under pressure, and ideally some background in political campaigning or knowledge of electoral law. The role explicitly does not involve strategy, fundraising, media engagement, or social media—it's pure ground operations. You must hold a UK driving licence and have reliable access to a vehicle, as you'll be managing activity across multiple constituencies in Essex.

The position suits someone who thrives on coordination and execution rather than high-level decision-making, and who is motivated by direct involvement in election preparation. If you're organised, people-focused, and genuinely aligned with the party's direction, this could be a meaningful way to contribute during a critical election cycle.
