Description

Campaign Manager - Durham

Role Overview

Reform UK is preparing for a general election by increasing its number of full-time Campaign Managers.

In applying for this role, please be aware this is not merely a job. It’s a mission.

We will expect any applicant to be someone completely committed to the Party, and able to demonstrate this in their CV and/or covering letter.

To be successful in the role, you will need to be a natural people-person who is highly motivated and organised.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the ground campaigns within a defined set of Parliamentary constituencies.

The role focuses on the organisation of core ground campaign activities: the collection of Voting Intention data, delivering literature, and running GOTV and Polling Day operations. Identifying local government candidates will be important too.

You will not have the responsibility for setting strategy, raising funds, engaging with the press or running social media. This is a role focused on ground campaigning, pure and simple.

We are seeking Campaign Managers across all parts of the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate an ambitious but deliverable canvassing schedule within each of the seats in your area, ensuring high levels of accurate data is collected.
• Organise the delivery of HQ- designed literature in your seats.
• Work with branches to deliver both of the above.
• Work with branches to engage volunteers in campaign activity.
• Monitor campaign progress to ensure you are meeting the KPIs set for you by the Head of Campaigns.
• Ensure adherence to legal and electoral requirements.

What we're looking for:

• Strong alignment to Reform UK and its values (essential)
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills (essential).
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities (essential)
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines (essential)
• Experience in political campaigning & election management (desirable)
• Knowledge of electoral law and timetables (desirable)

Applicant must hold a UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

About this role

Reform UK is building out its Campaign Manager team ahead of a general election, and this Durham-based role is a hands-on ground campaign position focused entirely on execution. You'll oversee canvassing operations, literature distribution, and get-out-the-vote activities across a set of Parliamentary constituencies, working closely with local branches to engage volunteers and collect voting intention data. The role requires you to track progress against set KPIs and ensure all activity complies with electoral law, but does not involve strategy, fundraising, media, or social media work.

This is a volunteer position suited to someone with genuine commitment to Reform UK's values and proven organisational ability. You'll need strong coordination skills to manage tight schedules and multiple moving parts under pressure. Prior experience in political campaigning or knowledge of electoral law is desirable but not essential; what matters most is your ability to plan meticulously, communicate clearly, and deliver results. You must hold a UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
