Saltmarsh Internship Program Overview
At Saltmarsh, our internship program is designed to bring your education to life through hands-on experience, personalized mentorship, and a real-world look into public accounting. From day one, you’ll be paired with a peer mentor and receive ongoing feedback to support your growth and success.
All internships are paid and may be eligible for college credit.

Internship Opportunities:
Spring Tax Internship
(January – April 2027)
- Aligned with tax season
- Requires a commitment of 24+ hours/week
- Runs from January through mid-April

About this role
Saltmarsh's spring tax internship runs January through mid-April 2027 and offers paid, hands-on experience in public accounting during the firm's busiest season. Based in Orlando (with additional locations in Tampa and Pensacola), you'll work at least 24 hours per week on real client work alongside training on firm software and processes. The program pairs you with a peer mentor from day one and provides ongoing feedback to support your development, with flexibility built in to accommodate your school schedule and personal time off.
This role suits someone ready to apply classroom learning to actual accounting work and willing to learn quickly in a collaborative environment. You'll gain exposure to tax season operations, build relationships across the firm, and participate in team-building and professional development activities.
