Rate: £28- £31 
Working hours: Full time, 09:00am- 16:00pm

 We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 or Band 7 Neurology Physiotherapist to join our clients team in East London. This role involves working with the Stroke and Neurosciences Team to provide specialised inpatient rehabilitation for patients with stroke and neurology conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients. What will your responsibilities be:

Provide specialised inpatient rehabilitation for patients with stroke and neurology conditions. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans. Implement and evaluate physiotherapy interventions to promote patient recovery and independence. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary Stroke and Neurosciences Team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely manner. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment plans. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience in inpatient rehabilitation, stroke, and neurology.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with advancements in the field.

About this role

Pulse Healthcare is recruiting a Band 6 or Band 7 Neurology Physiotherapist for a full-time inpatient role with the Stroke and Neurosciences Team in East London. This is a fixed-term placement running from 24 February to 14 March 2025, working standard office hours (9am–4pm). The role offers £28–£31 per hour depending on banding.

You'll deliver specialised rehabilitation to stroke and neurology patients, conducting assessments, designing individualised treatment plans, and implementing interventions to support recovery and independence. The position requires close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, participation in case conferences, and thorough documentation of patient progress. You'll also educate patients and families on their rehabilitation journey.

To be considered, you need HCPC registration, a degree in physiotherapy, and proven experience in inpatient rehabilitation within stroke and neurology settings.
