About this role
GoodVets is looking for a Veterinary Technician to join their Charlotte practice and take on the full scope of clinical support work—from venipuncture and catheter placement to anesthesia monitoring, radiology, surgical assistance, and patient care. You'll work directly with veterinarians to handle the technical tasks that free them up to focus on diagnosis and treatment, while also managing the hands-on work of keeping hospitalized patients comfortable. The caseload is diverse, so you'll need to stay adaptable and composed, especially during emergencies.
The role calls for someone with surgical experience who can work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong communication and customer service skills matter here, as does a genuine willingness to learn new techniques and pitch in wherever needed. GoodVets emphasizes mentorship and culture alongside quality care, so this is a place built around supporting its team.
The position pays $18.75 to $25 per hour and includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with employer match, paid holidays, and employee discounts on veterinary services and products. This is an in-office role in Charlotte with no remote component.
