About this role
ASM's Materials Handling Specialist role in Phoenix sits at the intersection of supply chain operations and semiconductor product development. You'd own material logistics for lab development and customer evaluation programs—tracking inventory, coordinating with procurement and engineering teams, and ensuring hardware reaches project sites on schedule. The work involves managing lead times, expediting parts through buyers, staging equipment for installations, and flagging delivery risks before they derail timelines.
The position calls for someone with supply chain or manufacturing background and a working knowledge of SAP, purchasing workflows, or bills of materials. Comfort reading engineering drawings and strong Excel skills are valuable. More than technical expertise, the role demands organizational rigor and clear communication across project management, engineering, and supply chain functions. A high school diploma or associate degree is the baseline; the real requirement is reliability and attention to detail in a fast-moving environment.
This is a full-time, in-office role in Phoenix suited to someone looking to deepen supply chain experience within a large, innovation-focused organization. You'd gain direct exposure to semiconductor development cycles and work alongside global teams—useful grounding if you're building toward a supply chain career in advanced manufacturing.
