About this role
Esri is looking for a Data Scientist I to help organizations harness location data and machine learning for real-world impact across sectors like defense, utilities, natural resources, and government. The position demands at least a year of professional machine learning experience, hands-on work with generative AI or large language models, and solid grounding in statistics and Python. You'll need a bachelor's degree in a STEM field, US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance, and strong communication skills to bridge technical and business conversations. A master's degree and prior spatial or GIS experience are valued but not required.
