About this role
Bluewave is seeking a Business Development Director to build the healthcare vertical within their regional markets. You'll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting through executive engagement—with regional healthcare providers and hospitals, carrying an annual quota and managing your own pipeline through Salesforce. The role blends consultative selling with strategic account development: you'll identify opportunities, facilitate C-suite conversations and QBRs, collaborate with solution engineers to shape proposals, and coordinate with internal teams on marketing and positioning.
This position demands at least five years of consultative sales experience and two years selling to technology leaders, ideally in healthcare or adjacent sectors. You'll need solid grounding in telecom and IT solutions (UCaaS, CCaaS, PaaS, data center), familiarity with the IT advisory and channel ecosystem, and the discipline to maintain accurate forecasting and activity tracking. The role is based in Nashville, Boston, or Northern New Jersey and requires travel to meet prospects and clients.
The compensation package ranges from $100,000 to $135,000 base plus $75,000 to $125,000 in on-target commission, paired with standard benefits including 401(k) match and open PTO. This is a full-time, in-office role suited to someone who thrives independently in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly across internal and external stakeholders, and has the intellectual curiosity to navigate a complex, evolving market.
