About this role
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Data Engineer to support application migration projects for US federal government clients, with a focus on designing and executing data pipelines that move information securely into cloud environments. You'll own the full lifecycle of data movement—from architecting scalable pipelines and developing ETL processes to implementing data quality monitoring and security controls. The role demands hands-on technical work with Python, SQL, Spark, and cloud-native ETL tools like AWS Glue or Azure Data Factory, paired with collaboration across migration teams to ensure data integrity throughout transitions.
This position requires at least five years of data engineering experience, an active Secret security clearance, and a willingness to work in St. Louis on-site Monday through Thursday (or live locally). You should be comfortable with data orchestration, quality assurance processes, and ideally have exposure to platforms like Databricks, Palantir, or Snowflake. The role operates within Agile frameworks, so you'll participate in sprints and ceremonies while troubleshooting real-world migration challenges and optimizing performance in cloud environments.
The salary range is $114,700 to $221,100 depending on location and experience. Accenture Federal Services emphasizes a collaborative culture and offers professional development through certifications and training.
