About this role
Manhattan Beer & Beverage Distributors is seeking a Night Warehouse Supervisor to lead operations at their Wyandanch facility during evening shifts (Sunday–Thursday, 6 p.m. start). You'd oversee all aspects of a high-volume warehouse operation: managing the receiving, palletization, and loading of beer and beverage products; supervising up to 50 staff including forklift operators and order builders; and ensuring orders move through the system accurately via the warehouse technology platform. Safety, inventory accuracy (FIFO compliance), facility maintenance, and staff training fall squarely on your shoulders.
This role demands someone with at least one to two years of hands-on warehousing and distribution experience in a fast-paced environment, plus a minimum of one year in a supervisory capacity. You'll need forklift certification, familiarity with OSHA standards, and comfort with warehouse management systems—EoStar and Vocalect experience is valued. A GED is required; an associate degree is preferred. Basic Excel and Word skills round out the technical requirements, along with the ability to think critically under pressure and a willingness to continuously improve operations.
The position offers a salary of $60,000–$65,000 annually, plus benefits and eligibility for a discretionary bonus. This is a hands-on leadership role at a growing distributor with a strong emphasis on team development and a family-oriented culture—suited for someone who thrives managing large crews and complex logistics on the night shift.
