About this role

There's a discrepancy in this listing that needs flagging: the job title and description reference an Assessment Team in East London, but the location is listed as West Virginia, United States. Based on the salary (£50,000), Ofsted rating, and all contextual details, this appears to be a UK role. You may want to clarify the actual location with Liquid Personnel before applying.

The role itself involves conducting assessments of children and young people to identify appropriate support and interventions, then planning and implementing those interventions across your allocated cases. You'll coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure families receive joined-up support, working within a strong safeguarding framework. The Assessment Team operates within a service rated Good by Ofsted with Outstanding elements, suggesting established practice standards and supportive infrastructure.

This position suits experienced social workers who have completed their ASYE and hold active Social Work England registration. The service emphasizes professional development, creative problem-solving, and staff progression within a stable leadership environment. If you're looking for a role that values both rigorous practice and innovation in supporting vulnerable children and families, this could be a good fit—provided you can clarify and reach the actual location.
