Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our commercial and industrial team for a project in Heflin, AL candidate will assist electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and construction projects. This role is designed for individuals pursuing a career in the electrical trade and offers hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced professionals. CANDIDATES MUST LIVE NEAR, SURROUND, OR RESIDE IN Heflin, AL.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial settings.
• Pull wire, install conduit, and prepare materials as directed by journeyman electricians.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Support troubleshooting and testing of electrical systems.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 2-4 years of commercial and/or industrial electrical experience.
• Enrollment in or willingness to enter an accredited electrical apprenticeship program.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles and tools.
• Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoors.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in construction or electrical work is a plus.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
