About this role

Fideres is a litigation-focused economic consulting firm seeking an experienced Competition Economist to lead antitrust projects and manage client relationships from its New York office. You would oversee a portfolio of investigations into corporate wrongdoing, directing teams of economic consultants through complex competition cases while maintaining direct contact with law firm and regulatory clients. The role balances hands-on analytical work—conducting detailed economic analysis, writing findings reports, and presenting proposals—with team leadership, resource allocation, and mentoring junior consultants on Fideres's methodologies.

This position suits someone with a background in competition economics, ideally from a competition agency, sector regulator, or economic consultancy, combined with a master's degree in economics (PhD preferred) and proven experience managing client relationships.
