Responsibilities:
- Provide effective individual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting.
- Provide direct patient care, conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications as necessary.
- Ensure that all patient care is delivered in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- We are not affiliated with any hospitals or clinics; enjoy the autonomy of practicing in the best interest of the patient without corporate administrative interference.
- We are a growing team consisting of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and therapists.
- Clinical work is performed from home, days and hours are per the clinician's choosing (this includes mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.). Clinical team meetings are also virtual.
- Clinical conferences are held four times a week. It is required that you attend at least one per week for the first 90 days of employment; after that, it is required that you attend one monthly.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a PMHNP license and open to licensing in alternative states.
- 1+ years of experience as a PMHNP required
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals.
- Strong computer and technology skills
- Strong clinical background in psychiatry
- Strong background in the diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments and familiarity with non-pharmacological interventions
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.

BlueSky Telepsych is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to deliver psychiatric care entirely through telehealth in an outpatient setting. You would conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage medications for patients across multiple regions, with the flexibility to set your own clinical schedule—including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role is based in Tucson but performed from home, and you'd join a clinician-led team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and therapists committed to evidence-based care without hospital or corporate administrative constraints.
The position requires an active PMHNP license (with openness to multi-state licensing) and at least one year of clinical experience as a PMHNP. You'll need strong expertise in psychiatric diagnosis and psychopharmacology, familiarity with non-pharmacological approaches, and solid technology skills to work reliably in a virtual environment. Collaboration with your clinical team is essential, as is attendance at virtual clinical conferences—required weekly during your first 90 days, then monthly thereafter.
