Position Description
- Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously, overseeing all phases from planning and scheduling to closeout
- Lead project teams, including Superintendents, Managers-in-Training, and Construction Assistants
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure seamless project execution
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports to track progress and performance
- Prepare and manage project documentation — including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes
- Ensure compliance with contracts, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Conduct and lead project meetings, providing regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and professional growth
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and problem-solving
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years as a Commercial Project Manager (plus 2-3 years as an Assistant Project Manager)
- Proven ability to manage multiple construction projects concurrently
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost control
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence

About this role
Auld & White Constructors is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial construction projects across Northeast Florida. In this role, you'll manage all phases of projects from planning through closeout, leading teams of superintendents and assistants while coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. You'll own project schedules, budgets, documentation, and compliance, and serve as the primary point of contact for keeping stakeholders informed and aligned throughout execution.
This position requires a bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field, plus a minimum of five years of hands-on commercial construction experience—at least three as a Project Manager and two to three as an Assistant Project Manager. You'll need strong proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and project management software, along with solid Microsoft Office skills. Leadership, communication, and a demonstrated commitment to safety and quality are essential.
