About this role
At iCapital, this Assistant Vice President role sits at the intersection of product management and enterprise risk—a position designed for someone who can translate operational vulnerabilities into strategic improvements. You'll own the full incident lifecycle across the Advisor Platform, from initial intake through root cause analysis and resolution, while identifying patterns that signal systemic issues worth addressing in the product roadmap. The work demands close partnership with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Risk teams to embed risk-informed thinking into planning and launches, then communicate findings clearly to leadership.
The ideal candidate brings 6 to 10+ years in product, risk, or operations roles within complex, regulated environments—ideally fintech or financial services. You'll need hands-on familiarity with product lifecycle risks, operational controls, and enterprise frameworks like SDLC, plus the analytical chops to spot patterns in data and dashboards. SQL proficiency and experience with tools like JIRA and Tableau are valued. More than technical skills, this role rewards people who can proactively influence decisions, drive accountability across teams, and distill complex issues into sharp executive summaries.
Based in Salt Lake City with in-office expectations Monday through Thursday, the role offers a salary of $110,000 to $130,000 plus equity, performance bonus, matched retirement, fully employer-paid dental and vision, and unlimited PTO.
