About this role
Custom Computer Specialists is seeking a quota-carrying sales professional to build and close a pipeline of compliance and cybersecurity opportunities within the defense contractor market across the Northeast. The role requires you to develop strategic relationships with executive stakeholders at defense contractors, manufacturers, and aerospace suppliers—translating their cybersecurity and compliance challenges into business outcomes around contract eligibility, revenue protection, and operational risk.
Success in this position demands 5+ years of B2B technology sales experience, with at least 2 years selling cybersecurity or compliance solutions into regulated or complex technical environments. You'll need to be comfortable managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles using a consultative approach, maintaining a strong pipeline with 3–5x coverage, and converting project-based engagements into recurring revenue streams. The ability to communicate cybersecurity risk to C-level executives and understand recurring revenue models is essential. Prior experience with CMMC, NIST, or other compliance frameworks, familiarity with the Defense Industrial Base, or background in an MSP/MSSP environment would strengthen your candidacy.
