About this role
CP Group, one of the largest office landlords in the United States, is seeking a Building Engineer to join its Miami operations team. You would be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all major building systems—HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, water treatment, and life safety equipment—across a commercial property. This position suits someone with 3–5 years of commercial building maintenance experience and relevant trade certifications (such as a refrigeration certificate, boiler license, or electrician license). You'll need solid mechanical knowledge, the ability to prioritize urgent repairs, and comfort working with building automation systems and basic computer applications. Beyond technical skills, the role emphasizes a solutions-oriented attitude and strong communication—you'll be the point person tenants interact with when systems fail or issues arise.
CP Group offers a solid benefits package: unlimited vacation and summer Fridays, company-paid life and disability insurance, subsidized medical, dental, and vision coverage, and a 401(k) match. The position is in-office in Miami and reports to the Chief Engineer.
