This job description for our Catering Delivery Driver, supports our restaurant at the Colonial Market Plaza in Orlando.
Our Catering Delivery Drivers provide prompt delivery of made-from-scratch food and provide the same level of service and hospitality our guests expect whether dine-in or catering. They also have a unique opportunity to directly impact the business by identifying and marketing to prospective deli fans.

REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or equivalent experience in a restaurant or related field and good driving record with proof of auto insurance.
• Flexible and long hours required at times.
• Ability to stand frequently, exerting up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Must be able to maneuver throughout the deli and kitchen area throughout the shift.
• Able to operate: coffee maker, POS system, microwave, computer, copier, telephones, knives, ovens, bread slicer, bagel slicer, cell phone and delivery van.
• Ability to reach overhead, carry catering cooler bags, handle hot and cold beverages, bend below the waist, crouch and communicate intentions to co-workers.

TooJay's Deli in Orlando is hiring a Catering Delivery Driver to transport made-from-scratch food from their Colonial Market Plaza location to customers. Beyond standard delivery duties, this role carries responsibility for representing the restaurant's hospitality standards in customers' homes and offices, and for actively identifying and marketing to potential new catering clients. You'll be the face of a 40-year-old Florida institution known for New York-style sandwiches, homemade comfort foods, and fresh-baked goods.
The work is physically demanding and requires flexibility. You'll spend shifts moving between the deli, kitchen, and delivery van—standing frequently, lifting up to 50 pounds, handling hot and cold items, and operating everything from POS systems to bread slicers to delivery vehicles. Hours can be long and variable. You'll need a high school diploma or equivalent restaurant experience, a valid driver's license with proof of insurance, and a clean driving record.
