About this role
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a UX Designer to develop prototypes for handheld software solutions serving US federal agencies across defense, national security, and public safety. The role bridges design and engineering, requiring you to rapidly translate UX concepts into functional prototypes while keeping technical constraints in mind. You'll partner with software engineering teams to create intuitive user experiences that support the government's mission-critical work.
The position demands strong expertise in both UX design and UX testing, with a proven ability to move quickly from concept to prototype. You'll need to understand not just what users need, but what's technically feasible to build. This is an in-office role in Washington, DC, and requires US citizenship. This opportunity suits designers who thrive in fast-paced environments, think in systems rather than pixels alone, and want their work to have direct impact on federal operations.
