Who are we hiring?
The Bartender is responsible for preparing beverages and food items to sell to guests during events in a friendly & courteous manner. This position is also responsible for maintaining cleanliness of their assigned location, processing cash and charge transactions and assisting Team Leads with timely set-up and breakdown of all work areas, specifics in food safety, food production, guest relations, equipment use and maintenance.
What will you do?
- Be engaging to all guests, make recommendations, while taking their drink orders and completing all credit card transactions prior to serving.
- Set up bar prior to event, maintain cleanliness of space during event and clean-up bar at event conclusion.
- Checks identification to ensure authenticity and confirm it meets the legal drinking age of 21.
- Mixes, garnishes and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests.
- Responsible for inputting all F&B orders in the POS terminals for guests to ensure all transactions are captured and recorded.
- Assist with daily/monthly physical inventory count.
- Address any guest questions or concerns, escalating to Supervisor as needed.
- Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.
- Adhere to Southern Nevada Department of Health food handling regulations and Company’s alcohol service guidelines (TEAM training guidelines)
What do you need to succeed?
- The ideal candidate will have previous bartending experience, bartending license a plus.
- Must be friendly, outgoing and create a welcoming environment to guests.
- Have commitment to high quality customer service and ability to handle a high-volume environment.
- Experience using POS system and efficiently completing payment transactions.
- Must take and pass TAM (Techniques of Alcohol Management) Nevada training class.
- Must have Health Card and Sheriff’s Card before starting work.
- Proven ability to listen, understand and communicate effectively.
Special Requirements
- General physical requirements such as lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs., standing for long periods, walking long distances, bending and constant motion is often required.
- May be exposed to theatrical smoke, strobe lights, pyrotechnics, intense sound, rapid motion video effects, smoke, and odors
- Must be flexible to rotate positions within a shift.
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, have split days off, work weekends and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment.
