Description

As a Lead Environment Artist, you will guide the vision and execution of world-building across our projects, ensuring the creation of immersive, high-quality environments. You’ll provide leadership to a talented team, fostering collaboration and creative excellence, while maintaining alignment with design goals and technical constraints.

Provide artistic direction, feedback, and mentorship to the environment art team, helping drive visual quality and team growth. Lead and coordinate environment art production, ensuring efficient workflows and on-time delivery of high-quality assets. Build compelling and believable environments from reference or concept art.

Create shaders and textures to support a visually rich and consistent world. Compose and set dress environments with a strong sense of space, storytelling, and gameplay readability. Collaborate closely with Art Direction, the 3D team, and the design team to ensure environments align with gameplay and narrative objectives.

An experienced Environment Artist with a proven track record, having shipped at least one game. Proficient in Unreal Engine or similar real-time development platforms. Expert in terrain and layout creation, shader and texture development, set dressing, and composition.

A collaborative leader with strong communication skills and a passion for building visually stunning, gameplay-enhancing worlds. Salary range Starting from 60,000 SEK per month, rising to 85,000 with experience, plus bi-annual bonus, and
